Golf Cart Tire recycling is becoming increasingly important in Florida, a state known for having the highest concentration of golf courses in the United States, with more than 1,250 courses spread throughout the state. In addition, retirement communities such as The Villages—one of the largest 55+ residential developments in the U.S.—have extensive infrastructure that favors the use of golf carts as a primary means of transportation (thevillages.com).
Mitigate your liabilities with our cost-effective tire collection services. Scrap tires not only pose aesthetic challenges but also potential hazards, including tire fires and health concerns. Stricter regulations mandate proper disposal, reuse, and recycling, and we are here to assist. Our collection rates are economical and collect by weight, providing a proactive and responsible alternative to potential fines associated with improper tire disposal. Partner with us to ensure compliance and contribute to a cleaner, safer community.
We are launching a strategic alliance program with golf cart repair shops, dealerships, and service centers to address the environmental challenge posed by the disposal of used golf cart tires. These trusted local businesses will become designated collection hubs, allowing both commercial and private clients to easily dispose of their used tires in an environmentally responsible manner.
As part of this initiative, each participating business will receive a dedicated 10 or 20-foot container for tire collection. Once full, FTRP will coordinate timely pickups and replace the container to ensure uninterrupted service.
In return for their support, partners will receive a share of the revenue generated from the tires collected at their location, turning waste into opportunity and adding a new income stream to their operations.
Enhance the safety and cleanliness of your community by responsibly disposing of your scrap tires. This not only contributes to a safer living and working environment but also frees up valuable space for more productive storage. Give our tire collection service a call and let’s work together for a cleaner, safer community.
Our tire processing facility accepts public drop-offs Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The disposal fee for golf cart tires is $1.50 per tire. Please note: rims are not accepted.
